Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which StudyPie also uses to keep you signed in and remember interface preferences such as whether the sidebar is collapsed.

• Strictly necessary. Authentication tokens, session security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off because the app will not function without them, and they are exempt from consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
• Functional. Interface preferences such as sidebar state, last-viewed study pack and dismissed prompts.
• Analytics. Aggregated, privacy-respecting usage measurement so we can see which study tools are used and where people get stuck. We set these only with your consent.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party ad networks.

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser. All major browsers also let you block or delete cookies for individual sites — note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent the app from working.

Our hosting, authentication, database and payment providers may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver their part of the service securely. They act as our processors and are not permitted to use that data for their own advertising.
